The Tokyo Festival of Modular, commonly referred to as TFoM, organizes and hosts events including exhibitions, trade shows, and concerts centered around modular synthesizers and electronic music. They run workshops for modular synthesizers, DIY projects, and operate a record label (anticipated), with the goal of revitalizing the scene and providing market solutions for the modular synthesizer community in Japan.

TFOM 2023 is not only the first large-scale electronic music event after the end of the pandemic but also the 10th-anniversary celebration of the event. Therefore, there is a significant increase in scale compared to previous years. Twenty artists with diverse styles from regions such as New York, Berlin, Seoul, Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei, and more performed their respective live sets during the two-day music festival.
